Roy Artal, M.D. F.C.C.P.

Raised in Southern California, Dr. Artal attended college at the University of Southern California, where he was the recipient of the Phi Beta Kappa Undergraduate Achievement Award, and completed medical school across town at the University of California Los Angeles. He subsequently completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship training at the Cedars-Sinai-UCLA Combined Fellowship Program, where he served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Artal has been in private practice in Southern California since 2001.


Dr. Artal's outpatient practice encompasses the spectrum of diseases of the lung, and includes the chronic cough, asthma, emphysema, lung cancer, and interstitial lung diseases, to name just a few.

In addition to pulmonary medicine, Dr. Artal also sees patients with sleep disorders. He is one of a select few nationally to be both fellowship trained and board certified in this discipline.
